What Should I Not Tell My Date?
Great question! Yes there are some things that you may consider not telling your date, because frankly some things are just not that important. You would not want to turn off the person you’re dating to the point they decide they are really not interested in dating you after all. Here are a few tips that may assist you in determining what you should consider not discussing with the person you date: Tip One: Consider not discussing with your date your past boyfriend, girlfriend or former spouse. This is a definite no, no. Most people do not want to hear about how great or terrible your past girlfriend, boyfriend or former spouse were to you. Don’t dwell on the past, leave it in the past. Tip Two: Don’t talk about how much money you have or lack of it. This may come across to your date as your way of telling them that money is the most important thing to you in a relationship. Your date may decide to run for the hills and leave you behind. Tip Three: You probably don’t want to discuss your past intimate relationships with your date. This may make your date very uncomfortable and put them in an awkward position as to what you may or may not expect from them. Try to steer clear from this topic if you don’t want to create waves or ripples with the person you date. Tip Four: If you cheated on your previous girlfriend, boyfriend or significant other, don’t even think about talking about this subject with the person you’re dating. If you decide to talk about this topic with your date, be prepared for a possible end to your relationship before it really gets started.
So, I think you get the idea of what you should not tell your date. You may think of a few more things that you believe you should not share with the person you date also. Remember some things are best left unsaid.
